Kim Nodolf, MA LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with training and over 12 years of experience in Cognitive-Behavioral, Client-Centered, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am also Reiki-trained and I have experience with sports psychology. As a competitive athlete myself, I have a keen understanding of the mental challenges that are often faced by those seeking to do their best.
I earned a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Marquette University in 1999, and then I obtained my Masters of Counseling from Marquette in 2001. My experience covers a variety of settings including a therapeutic boarding school, inner-city non-profit organizations, and outpatient mental health counseling in a clinic setting. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) since 2005.
My therapy is built on a cornerstone of a warm and supportive approach with each individual, family, or couple and the specific challenge being faced. When helping children and adolescents, my therapy focuses on grabbing their attention using a variety of tools and building the trust that is necessary to lead to a successful therapeutic experience.
